How it works

5 steps, most of which happen without you doing anything. Here is the whole process, including the part where we ask for an email address and why.

  1. 1

You give us your website address

Nothing else. No email, no phone number, no account. We take whatever form you type it in and work out the rest.

    5 seconds

  2. 2

We read your site the way Google does

We request your homepage as a search engine, before any of the design loads, and check what is actually there. At the same time we ask Google for its own speed measurements of your site, which is the slow part, and read the notes your site leaves for search engines.

    Up to a minute

  3. 3

You get 4 scores straight away

Findability, Technical Health, Local Presence and Credibility, each with the specific findings behind it. This part is free and stays free. If you stop here, you have still got something useful.

    Immediate

  4. 4

If you want the map, you tell us where to send it

Your business name and an email address. 2 fields. We find your Google listing, confirm it against your website, and start a live scan of 49 points across a 5km area around you.

    20 seconds to fill in

  5. 5

The scan runs and the report lands in your inbox

The scan itself takes anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes, which is why we send it rather than making you sit on a loading screen. The email leads with the map, then carries every finding in full.

    Usually a few minutes

Why we ask for an email address

Because the map scan genuinely takes a few minutes, and nobody should have to sit watching a spinner for that long. The address is how the result reaches you. That is the entire reason.

We will send you your report, and we will follow up once to ask whether it was useful. We do not sell lists, we do not pass your details on, and every message has a working unsubscribe link. The full detail is on the privacy page.

What we do with what we find

Nothing, unless you ask us to. The report is yours. Plenty of people take it straight to whoever manages their site, which is a perfectly good outcome and usually the fastest one.

If you would rather we handled it, reply to the email and say which part matters most to you. We do search and Google Ads for Australian service businesses, so the work in this report is the work we do. More about that on the who we are page, or you can just run your report and see what comes back.
